A Gorgeous Result Comes From Careful Planning…
“By spending 5% of the total value of your home on landscaping, and doing it wisely, you can add 15% or more to the value of your home.” -Smart Money Magazine
Whether you are a do-it-yourselfer or prefer to have a professional installation, the best place to start is with a plan. With a written, easy-to-understand garden plan, you can get accurate bids from contractors, adjust the layout of pathways and patios before contractors arrive on-site, and make sure you like all of the plants and elements planned for your garden.
I can help you clarify what you’d like to see in your new landscape, and work with you to develop a plan of action for a landscape that will work with your aesthetics and budget.
Plans Customized For Your Site And Personal Tastes…
We usually start with a design consultation to talk about what styles, colors, and plants you’re attracted to, and discuss how you’d like to use your landscape. If you have a vision for how it will go, I’d love to help you reach it, and if you don’t yet know what you want, I can help with that too.
Once we’ve talked about what you’d like your new landscaped garden to look and feel like, I can give you a price for the plan that same day. Pricing runs around $3200-4200 for a scaled plan, printed in full color with photos of the plants and themes used in the plan.
Because I work with a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) program, it’s simple for me to email you early drafts of patio or pathway layouts, and it’s easy to make changes if you see a plant later that you’d like added. I can also provide you with a scalable .PDF version of your plans upon completion, so you can print multiple copies when getting bids for the installation.

Working With You Through the Installation For A Seamless Transition From Plan To Reality…
Many designers are finished when the plans are complete, leaving you alone to juggle bids from landscape contractors, find the different plant varieties, and make sure it is installed the way you’d envisioned.
I work closely with a few carefully-selected landscape installation contractors, to ensure that your garden is installed with the same loving care that I take with your landscape plan. Of course, I’m happy to advise if you want to install your own garden, and I’m happy to work with the contractor of your choice to help you through any hurdles in the installation process – but I’m proud to recommend these contractors for your installation needs.
